I am a family man. I love my wife and my grown up kids and their kids. I love adventure and travel and taking pictures and writing journals of what I experience or learn in the process. I taught myself to play the guitar and the piano.  I have a Masters Degree and have taught from 6th grade to Grad School. Seven years were spent teaching College in New England. My dog's name is Penny. She is a Jack Russell Terrier with a sprinkle of Beagle. She is very obedient and knows over 40 tricks.

 

We came to Florida 27 years ago and started the Ron Lawton Painting and Repair business, as a family. Now my two sons have their own painting businesses, and I have mine. My goal is to make sure that each person I work for gets the work done with quality materials and expert work, for a fair price. I only use top of the line materials. We use an 8 step pattern of steps we take as we paint. We trench the dirt away from the base of the exterior, clean all the mildew off, and pressure wash the house, protect the plants, seal and caulk all the cracks and voids, seal all the windows and sills, scrape and spot prime all loose paint areas, prime the whole house with sealing primer, spray a topcoat of satin or flat paint on the exterior, followed by a roller to fill all the textured areas, and brush the trim and windows etc., to finish the work, inspect, and clean up. We usually get a quarter of the cost as a deposit to reserve the calendar time for your job, and the balance is due at completion. We are licensed and insured, and well recommended and trusted. And I love to paint for nice people. They appreciate quality and they make work a joy.
